Featured in this lot is this Victorian ornate aristocratic hat pins circa 1830s to 1910. There are a total of sixteen total hat pins in this collection. The hat pins are displayed in a framed display with rounded glass with floral accents to the top, sides, and bottom of the frame. The hat pins shows some celluloide cubes with colorful confetti with an ornate brass head and some with round and tear drop and the last is a hammered eye head. Hatpins were essential fashion accessories from the late 19th to the early 20th century, used primarily by women to secure their hats to their hair. Today, antique hatpins are valued by collectors for their craftsmanship and historical significance, with some pieces considered fine examples of decorative art from their era. The condition of this collection of hatpin's is good with no obvious signs of damage and is shown well preserved in a framed display case.
