There are two notes in this collection that first reads as follows: The Manhattan Silver Mining Co. - 5 - Austin, Nev. - No. 2242 - 187__ - Pay to the bearer - Five Dollars - Merchantable Silver - To Paxton & Curtis, Bankers - Austin, Nev. The second mining note reads as follows: The Manhattan Silver Mining Co. - 10 - Austin, Nev. - No. 2310 - 187__ - Pay to the bearer - Ten Dollars - Merchantable Silver - To Paxton & Curtis, Bankers - Austin, Nev. The condition of this pair of mining notes is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of both mining notes is 3 5/8" x 7 1/2". The collective weight of these mining notes are U4oz.
