This is an original The Western Union Telegraph Company circa December 14th, 1871 ledger page ephemera with original Plains Indian Ledger Art Drawings. The ledger page is covered in original pencil and colored pencil Indian Ledger Art drawing showing a Plains Native American Indian warrior on horseback in full war regalia amongst the dead and slaughtered U.S. Army or U.S. Cavalry men, possible from the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The image alos shows two dead naked individuals, as well as a coup lance spear feathered, rifle, saber and U.S. American Flag Cavalry Guidon. The piece is from the same collection as the Blemmingham Ledger book collection, the very same as the 1890-1891 Buffalo Kill Ledger sold in 2022 by NAAC for $2,016. The original ledger is dated to circa 1871, the artwork appears to be of an older age but exact age is unknown. There is some folding and slight foxing but displays beautifully.
