The box of ammunition shows the original box with a seal demeanor and all round accounted for and is marked on the display side as follows: .44 Smith & Wesson Special - Smokeless - Winchester Make. The top label is marked as follows: 50 Winchester - .44 S & W Special Smokeless Cartridges - Center Fire - .44 S & W Special - 246 Gr. Lead Bullets - Adapted to Smith & Wesson Special Revolver Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. - New Haven, Conn., U.S.A. The primer tin is empty but is the original tin for 250 primers and the top of the tin reads as follows: 250 - Winchester Primers - No. 1 - Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co., - Pat'd Oct. 1st, 1878 - Water Proof. The condition of this box of Winchester ammunition and tin of primer is preserved with some wear tot he outside labeling of the box and tin with the tin of primer empty and the box of ammunition slightly opened but sealed on one side as unopened. The measurements of this box of ammunition is 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" and the primer tin measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4". The collective weight of this collection is 2lb 6oz.
