The lot features a late-19th Century Eastlake pattern Chas. F. Netzow MFG. Co. Milwaukee, Wisconsin Bristol Parlor Organ. The piece shows a wonderful oak like construction, handmade by Netzow and showing a fine Eastlake design with spoon carving, geometric forms as well as nature inspired designs incorporated. The Eastlake movement was a nineteenth-century architectural and household furnishing design reform movement, which was started by British architect and writer Charles Eastlake (1836-1906), was essentially a North American phenomenon. Eastlake style is part of the greater Queen Anne style of the Victorian era. Marked above the keys in gilt gold "C F NETZOW MFG CO MILWAUKEE / Netzow Organ". Measures overall
