The lot features a set of circa 1890 Jicarilla Apache beaded Indian hide hard sole moccasins. The set shows Indian tanned hide tops with hard sole parfleche bottoms that are sinew sewn and shows a classic Jicarilla Apache pattern with glass trade seed beads that are also sinew sewn. It is truly a wonderful set and similar to the set in the Bata Shoe Museum which are also Jicarilla Apache from the late 1800s. Likely from the Dulce Indian Reservation, New Mexico. Each moccasin measures 7.75"L soles by 3 3/8"W by 3"H ankles.*
