This is an excellent fully loom-beaded sash from the Potawatomi (Pottawatomie / Pottawatomi) Western Great Lakes Indians dating to circa 1890-1910's. The sash shows loom beadwork with late-19th century glass trade seed beads with blue yarn braided fringes. The beads show colors of greasy yellow, amber, medium green, red white heart, cobalt, black, and chalk white. Provenance: From a private Native American collection in California. Measures overall 102-inches long by 3.5-inches wide.
