The lot features two sets of circa 1903-1935 Haynes Photographer Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming Playing Cards. The lot includes a light blue felt and gold set and a dark brown and gold set. Light blue set is marked on the ace of spades Haynes St. Paul, Minn. Yellowstone Park, Wyo. Z 1903. The dark brown set is marked on the ace of spades Haynes Bozeman, Mont. Yellowstone Park, Wyo. R 1935. The front of each is marked, “HAYNES INC., YELLOWSTONE PARK, WYOMING / YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK Playing Cards A PRODUCT OF THE UNITED STATES PLAYING CARD COMPANY.” Both sets show the Old Faithful Geyser Haynes gilt colorized photograph on the back. Both sets show the J.E. Haynes St. Paul black bear climbing a tree photograph Joker 132 79. The light blue set shows 53 cards (52 number and face cards, 1 Joker card). The dark brown set shows 54 cards (52 number and face cards, 2 Joker cards). Measures 3.75-inches by 2 5/8-inches by ¾-inches each.
