Featured in this lot is this dark lacquer Montana creel circa 1910 to 1930's. The creel features a wonderfully and professionally crafted split willow and leather construction completely78/* covered in dark lacquer and shows a shoulder strap. The condition of this creel is preserved with an after addition of dark lacquer across the entire creel but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The overall measurements of this creel is 8 3/4" x 15" x 10". The collective weight of this creel is 3lb 8oz. Provenance: From a prominent ex-Bozeman private collection who purchased the majority of his collection from Cowan's, Skinner, Bonhams, Morphy's, Sotheby's, March in Montana, North American Auction and other well revered auction houses. The item was sold at Antique Market and More Bozeman, MT for $300.00.
