Featured in this lot is this Navajo Red Mesa textile rug circa 1910 - 1930's. the rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that shows a heathered red field with a off white border with stepped decoration uniting the two and shows three diamonds characteristically seen in Red Mesa rugs that include dark brown coloration, off white, and red. The condition of this Navajo rug is preserved with some obvious wear to tears shown throughout the rug but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of this rug are 78 1/2" x 47 1/2". Provenance: From a prominent ex-Bozeman private collection who purchased the majority of his collection from Cowan's, Skinner, Bonhams, Morphy's, Sotheby's, March in Montana, North American Auction and other well revered auction houses.
