This lot features a circa 1930-1950s beaded Indian hide hard sole moccasins from the Sioux Tribe of the Northern Plains. The set is comprised of Indian tanned hide that is thread sewn and has thick parfleche rawhide soles. The tops, sides and backs are covered in glass trade seed bead beadwork with a classic geometric design. The moccasins have trade black clothe covered Indian hide ankle fold over with Indian hide tongues and original ties. The hide is stiffened, there is small bead loss and the black felt like clothe has some wear, overall well kept beautiful set with good foot worn pattern. Each moccasin measures about 10.5"L x 4.5"W x 3"H, soles are about 8.5"L.*
