Featured in this lot is this brilliant costume jewelry collection circa 1930's to 1940's. The jewelry is wonderfully and professionally crafted brass and other alloy metals with predominately rhinestone decoration. This is a large collection with 7 pairs of earrings, 1 single earrings, 5 necklaces, 2 bracelets and a mixture of variety brooches and pendants. Costume jewelry, often made from inexpensive metals, glass, rhinestones, and synthetic materials, became especially popular in the early to mid-20th century as a fashionable yet affordable alternative to fine jewelry. Brands like Trifari, Coro, and Miriam Haskell elevated costume jewelry into wearable art, with bold designs and intricate craftsmanship. Today, vintage costume jewelry has become highly collectible, valued not only for its beauty and design but also for its historical and nostalgic appeal. Collectors often seek out signed pieces, rare patterns, and well-preserved examples, which can command surprising prices at auctions and antique markets. The condition of this collection of costume jewelry is well preserved with some of the pieces showing slight wear but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this collection range from 10 3/4" x 5 1/4" to 3/4" x 1/2". The collective weight of this collection of costume jewelry is 473.4g.
