The lot features a circa 1930-1940's Indian tanned hide beaded child's doll in a large size with the shape of a warrior brave. The piece is comprised of Indian tanned hide showing a man warrior in typical war shirt attire showing a beaded war shirt, beaded leggings, beaded moccasins, beaded necklace, with beadwork extending to the back and real human hair. The piece shows whispy Indian hide fringes and a trade muslin body. The piece shows sinew and trade thread and a nice cobalt to greasy light blue old glass trade beads with accentsd in greasy green, with accents in semi-transparent dark red, chalk white, black. The necklace shows old chalk white pony trade beads. Overall a very nice early doll. Measures 14-inches tall by 7-inches wide.
