Featured in this lot is an AAA Approved Inn porcelain enamel sign, circa 1930 to 1970s. The sign features a wonderfully and professionally crafted porcelain enamel construction that shows an oval design with coloration of white, red, and blue and is marked as follows: Approved Inn - AAA - Property of AAA. AAA porcelain enamel signs were primarily used in the mid-20th century, roughly from the 1930s to the 1970s. The condition of this porcelain sign is preserved with some wear to the porcelain around the eyes of the sign with oxidation to the metal underneath and rubbing to the paint of the sign but otherwise is preserved. The measurements of this sign are 19 3/4" x 27". The collective weight of this sign is 5lb 4oz.*
