The lot features a fantastic Indian tanned hide whimsical floral beaded tobacco bag from the Crow Apsaalooke of Montana circa 1930-1940's. The bag shows thick Indian tanned hide with thread sewing showing Indian hide fringes on the bottom, beadwork on both sides, fancy beaded pouch ends on the ties and Indian hide opening. The beadwork shows a whimsical floral pattern on the front in early glass trade seed beads showing colors og greasy green, greasy blue, Cheyenne pink, red, cobalt, chalk white and many colors on the ties. The back shows a small pouch / pocket with beadwork in a unique geometric candelabra or hands design. The ties have four medicine pouch like stuffed ends with a crazy crow beaded design. Overall measures 15-inches by 10-inches wide.
