The lot features a circa 1940-1950's Blackfeet beaded Indian hide doll. The doll is comprised of Indian tanned hides with glass trade seed beads and real braided human hair. The piece shows fully beaded high-top mcocasins (beaded tops and leggings), beaded dress, beaded bracelets, beaded facial features and a fully beaded belt with classic four-point maltese cross typical of Montana Blackfeet / Blackfoot beadwork. The beadwork extends to both sides and overall the piece is well kept with little to no bead loss or damages. From a large Native American beadwork collection in the Mid-West. Measures overall 12-inches long by 5-inches wide.
