Featured in this lot is this Deer Lodge, MT Prison hitched horsehair headstall circa 1970-80's. The headstall features a wonderfully and professionally crafted horsehair construction that shows round horsehair frame with Turkshead knots and shows leather wrapped leather rings on either side of the headstall and shows a full look nose band with a long tassel throat latch. The coloration of this headstall is green, black and off white. The condition of this prison made headstall is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this headstall is 32" x 6 1/2" x 8". The collective weight of this headstall is 12oz.
