Sakiestewa, The Sun Kachina by Andy Brown, Zuni Rain Priest by Debra C. and No Face Kachina by Chiefs K. James. First shows the Hahai-i Wuhti, the Grandmother Kachina or the mother of all kachinas. This piece is signed, HA-HAI WUTITI M. SAKIESTEWA by Mike Sakiestewa Sr. in the late-20th century. Next is The Sun Kachina by Andy Brown, signed as such on a red painted base with flaring feathered mask, dating to the 1970's. Next is the Zuni Rain Priest by Debra C., signed as such showing leather painted features holding a dance stick and bow. Lastly is the largest, a No Face Kachina signed Chiefs K. James 423,459 TT. The lot comes with several documents / provenance: Antique Avenue Mall receipt showing two Kachina Dolls circa 1970's including a hand written letter with an old knapped point, Fred Wilson Phoenix, Arizona Hopi Indian Kachina (Ka Che Na) paper, There are a few repairs and imperfections. Largest No Face measures 13.5-inches tall byu 7-inches wide by 6.5-inches deep. Rain Priest Kachina measures 10.5-inches tall by 7.5-inches wide by 4.75-inches deep. Sun Face Kachina measures 8.75-inches tall by 5.5-inches wide by 3.5-inched deep. Lastly the grandmother measures 5.25-inches tall by 3-inches wide by 2.5-inches deep.
