Featured in this lot is this Hollywood Regency brass deer sculpture circa 1980's. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brass and marble base construction that shows a deer head facing forward with its ears to its side and 3 antler tines per antler. A Hollywood Regency brass sculpture is a decorative object that is part of an interior design style that incorporates metallics like brass, gold, and silver. Hollywood Regency is a glamorous, maximalist style that emerged in the 1930s and was inspired by the lavish sets of Hollywood's Golden Age. The condition of this brass sculpture is good with some slight patina due to age but otherwise shows a good overall condition. The measurements of this brass sculpture is 28 1/2" x 10" x 8 1/2". The collective weight of this sculpture is 25lb 4oz.
