Featured in this lot is this pair of Widgeon decoy's by Patrick Vincenti circa 1980's. The decoys feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden construction that shows lead weights on the bottom and life like painted features present on both. Patrick Vincenti is a carver out of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Vincenti's decoys are hand crafted in the Chesapeake Bay style. He became a full time decoy maker in 1986. His work has been displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. and their decoys have been purchased and sold at many Ducks Unlimited functions across the United States. This pair of Widgeon decoys is a wonderful display of the craftsmanship by Vincenti. The condition of this pair of duck decoys is well preserved with only very slight wear tot he painted surface but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these buck decoys is 7 1/4" x 14 1/2" x 5 3/8" and 7 1/4" x 14 1/2" x 5 1/2". The collective weight of this pair of decoys is 4lb 8oz.
