Featured in this lot is this cattleman horseshoe collection circa 19th century to 1920's; from the ex-collection of the C.M. Russell Museum and John Kleinschmidt. There are a total of seven old horseshoes in this collection with six of them shoeing used condition with a 19th century feel and a corrective side shoe that is a little newer and for corrective shoeing. The condition of this collection of 19th century horseshoes is preserved with heavy oxidation to the all but one of the horseshoes but otherwise is preserved. The measurements of this collection of horseshoes range from 6 1/4" x 6" to 5 3/8" x 2 3/4". The collective weight of this collection of horseshoes is 5lb 14oz. the shoes come with the original museum or collectors tags and reads as follows: 1396-87 - O'Dell.
