This is an excellent handwoven flat weave rug by master weaver Alicia Gutierrez using 100% soft fine handspun yarns in a beautiful Cadenas Blue pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using 100% handspun wool yarns that offers natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. Tight handwoven weave displayed with bright rich tones in the fine Cadenas Blue pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Alicia Gutierrez. The rug shows a wonderful contemporary work of art with rich heathered blue colorings with fine detail and colors of turquoise, blues and greens. The piece is brand new in pristine condition with tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 6” by 5’ (2 foot 6 inch by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
