For bidding in this lot is a set of Franklin Mint 150th Anniversary California Gold Rush commemorative replicas. The set includes an assayer's scale, and a telegraph station. The scale is housed in a gorgeous mahogany display case, and is crafted of polished brass and copper. Additionally, the scale sits atop a green marble base. The telegraph station is also constructed of brass and copper, and is based on a mahogany display stand. The telegraph station is adorned with a telegraph code plaque. Both of the pieces include their original box. The lot shows good condition overall, the telegraph station has a small chip on the bottom left, and the scale has very subtle scuffs on the case. The telegraph station measures 13 3/4" wide, 6 1/4" deep, and 3 7/8" tall.
