Featured in this lot is this Canadian 1973 Queen Elizabeth II 1976 Montreal Olympics coin collection. There is a $10.00 and a $5.00 coin in this collection made from sterling silver (.925). These coins are to memorialize the 1976 Olympics that took place in Montreal. The coins both are marked as follows: Elizabeth II Canada 1973 - Olympiade XXI Olympiad Montreal 1976 10 Dollars (and 5 Dollars for the smaller coin). The $10.00 coin weighs 48.6g and shows a current melt value of about $50.00. The $5.00 coin shows a total weight of 24.3g and shows a current melt value of about $25.00. The condition of this collection of silver coins is well preserved with no black cases like the other coins but shows no obvious damage to the clear plastic coin cases but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this pair of coins in their cases is 2 7/8" x 2 5/8" x 3/8" for both cases. The collective weight of these coins in cases is 128.6g.
