Featured in this lot is this Carcharodon or Requiem fossilized shark teeth. The collection features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction. There are a total of nine smaller teeth and one large fossilized that is much larger and seems to be a much older specimen. Carcharhinus is the type genus of the family Carcharhinidae, the requiem sharks. One of 12 genera in its family, it contains over half of the species therein. It contains 35 extant and eight extinct species to date, with likely more species yet to be described. The condition of this collection of shark teeth is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this display case is 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" x 7/8". The collective weight of this collection is 10oz.
