For your consideration are two carved wood folk art walking canes from the early 20th century. The first walking cane shows a lighter colored wood with various small knobs protruding from the entirety of the cane. An effigy of a snake has been carved into the walking cane spanning almost the entire length of the cane. The second walking cane shows a black color and features a rounded pommel, similar to the first cane. This cane also features various small knobs protruding from the entirety of the cane. This cane is capped with a rubber cap to improve grip and stability. Both are unmarked with no makers mark or company mark. They show good condition overall with some wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. The lighter colored cane measures 38 1/4" L x 1 5/8" W x 1 5/8" D, while the black colored cane measures 37 3/4" L x 2" W x 2 1/8" D. They have a collective weight of 1 pound and 7 ounces.
