Featured in this lot is this framed chromolithograph called "In Without Knocking," by Charles M. Russell born in 1864 and died in 1926. This artwork was originally painted in 1909 and shows a scene of cowboys firing their guns and riding into The Hoffman Hotel while still mounted. Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The artist name is marked "CM Russell (Buffalo Skull)" and "1909". The condition of this framed chromolithograph is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed chromolithograph is 27 5/8" x 37" and the visible art measures 19 1/2" x 29 3/8".
