Featured in this lot is this double-sided chromolithograph from artist Charles M. Russell, with the original artwork dated 1899 and 1903. There are two pieces on the same paper. The first is a cameo of a Native American man wrapped in a trade blanket and shows the artist’s signature in the bottom left-hand corner. The second is on the other side of the page and is called "When Meat Was Plentiful", by Charles M. Russell; it shows a band of Native hunters galloping after a herd of buffalo and is signed by the artist in the bottom left-hand corner of the artwork. The condition of this double-sided chromolithograph is good; it was extracted from a catalogue or book, showing some wear to the spine edge of the chromolithograph. The measurements of this double-sided chromolithograph are 12" x 9".
