For your consideration is this first edition copy of Back-Trailing on the Old Frontier by Charles Russell published in 1922. This copy contains the bookplate that was used to identify it as part of Russell's personal library. After Nancy Russell's death in 1940, Dawson's Bookshop of Los Angeles brought the entire Russell book collection and designed the bookplate with the familiar buffalo skull to show the origin of each item. The book was published in Great Falls, MT and published by Cheely-Raban Syndicate. The condition of this book is good showing no obvious signs of damage to the cover or the integrity of the inside pages of the book. The measurements of this book is 11 1/4" x 7 3/4".
