Featured in this lot we have a Charles Webley lever double barrel break action shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. This shotgun was manufactured by Charles Webley in London in the late 1800's. The shotgun displays Damascus double round barrels, walnut stock and fore grip, double hammers, double triggers, etched lock plates, etched frame, and warm patina. The shotgun displays an older lever barrel release design on the left side. The frame and lock plate display numerous game bird etchings and tooled floral designs across the sides and frame. The lock plates are marked with "Charles Webley" with the top of the barrel rib marked "London Fine Twist". The shotgun displays a warm patina across the exterior with faded checkering across the front grip. The rifle shows good condition overall with working hammers and lever. The shotgun weighs 9lbs 2oz. Serial Number: 20963. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
