For your consideration in this lot we have a framed print of "The Winter Packet" by Charlie Russell. Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926), also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an artist of the Old American West. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. Known as 'the cowboy artist', Russell was also a storyteller and author. This print shows the image of a Native American Indian moving a covered sled with four sled dogs. The print is signed at the bottom left hand side with the title of the piece in the bottom center. The print is set in a dark wood frame with a beige border. The piece is in good condition overall. The frame measures 18 1/2" wide by 10 3/4" tall with the piece measuring 14 1/2" wide by 7" tall.
