Featured in this lot is this Cheyenne beaded tobacco pipe bag, circa mid-20th century. This is an exceptionally attractive beaded pipe bag with excellent Indian tanned hide construction, glass trade seed beads adorning the front and back of the pipe bag, and a figural teepee that shows coloration consisting of sky padre blue, transparent navy blue, corn yellow, dark transparent dark green, red, and chalk white. Although there is a teepee scene on both sides, the scenes are different with different geometric patterns on either side. The pipe bag shows original tie straps with a long fringe of hide tassels at the bottom of the pipe bag. The condition of this pipe bag is good, with no obvious signs of damage, and it is in good, overall display condition. The measurements of this pipe bag are 28" form top of bag to the bottom of the tassels x 4" x 1/2".
