This is an excellent hand woven, flat weave rug by master weaver Fidel Lopez. It was made using 100% soft, fine, hand spun yarns in a beautiful Chinle Banded Flechas pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% hand spun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, hand woven weave displays the bright, rich tones in the fine Chinle Banded Flechas pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Fidel Lopez. The rug shows a wonderful contemporary rendition of a banded Chinle, with multi-colored bands of fletching and wire decorated bands of red, light blue, dark blue, purple, and orange. The fletching decoration is colored similarly. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 5” by 5’ (2 foot 5 inch by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
