This is an original Chippewa full-size child size large doll sculpture showing a Buffalo Horn Headdress War bonnet and large Buffalo Horn Dance Club by Chippewa artist Leonard & Laurie Many Trails, from the Many Trails Collection at the former Indian Nations Trading Post in Livingston, Montana. The doll features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction shows a large stature with hide clothing with a hide breast plate with brass beads and a Turkey Feather in his hand. The doll is holding a dancing wand with buffalo horn bi-furcated head and hide wrapped shaft with a dangle of deer toes and shows tuffs of buffalo hair above the moccasins and shows a ermine adorned buffalo horn ceremonial war bonnet on its head. The condition of this Many Trails doll is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this doll is 40" x 21" x 16".
