Featured in this lot is this Chippewa coyote fur, beaded stone skull cracker war club. This is a sturdy, well-crafted war club with a hide wrapped shafted; it is decorated with brass tacks and trade seed beads in colors of blue and chalk white. The skull cracker shows tassels on the butt of the shaft and a natural stone head and turkey feathers. The condition of this skull cracker is good, showing no obvious signs of damage. This is a contemporary piece by artist Jake Runs-Buffalo. The measurements of this stone skull cracker are 23" x 5 1/2" x 1 3/4".
