Offered in this lot for your consideration is a Chippewa Native American Indian rawhide drum, crafted by Gloria Wells. The drum is constructed with a large tree stump, with thick 3" walls. and wrapped with stiff rawhide. The drums large make-up, and girthy walls make for a deep, resonating sound. The drum shows good condition overall, and originates from the early to mid 1900's. The drum measures approximately 35" long, 18 3/4" tall, and 22 3/4" wide.
