This is an original handmade Damascus forged steel knife and leather scabbard from Christ Peterson. The knife features a wonderful custom blacksmith forged folded Damascus steel blade that has been paired with a set of polished Buffalo horn black grips that are secured with two large pins. The knife shows a set of highly polished nickel bolsters and the handle has a very comfortable hold. The blade is marked "C. Peterson Salina, UT USA". Peterson has been a knife maker in Utah for decades and some of his most sought-after knives are made with meteorite. This knife shows good overall condition. The knife is in brand new condition. The custom top grain leather sheath shows slight tooling and is also marked on the back, “C. PETERSON SALINA, UT USA C.P.” The knife measures 8 3/4" with a 4" blade. The sheath is 7.75”x2.5”.
