For your consideration is this original oil on canvas done by Christina Blackledge circa 2004. This is an orginal piece done by Christina Blackledge in 2004 and is signed on the front and back of the canvas. The painting depicts a middle aged woman thought to be Annie Oakley (1860-1926), an American sharpshooter and folk heroine who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West. The painting shows bright colors of blue, light yellow, red, brown, white and gray throughout. She is looking towards the viewer with a stern look on her face and is wearing a star badge on her chest. Above her it reads, "Cowgirl" in white lettering. The painting is signed on the front reading, "CH See B. / 2004" and the back reading, "Christina Blackledge Box To Center Point, TX 78010 / 830-634-2668". The canvas is held together by two wood support beams on the top and bottom. The piece shows fair to good condition with wear present from its use over the years. No major signs of damage is noted. Crease lines are present from being stored. The piece measures 36 7/8" L x 26 13/16" W x 3/8" D and weighs 1 pound and 4 ounces.
