Featured in this lot is this Civil War 1860's Rogers Cutlery for Her Majesty Confederate fighting knife. The knife features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows a fighting knife with a stylish brass hilt with a walnut handle. The knife is marked on the blade as follows: Rogers Cutlers to Her Majesty. Many of these knives were imported by the Confederate Army for use during the Civil War. The condition of this Civil War Era knife is well preserved with some oxidation and patina adorning he blade and the hilt but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The overall measurements of this 9 7/8" x 2 1/4" x 3/4" and the blade length is 5 5/8". The collective weight of this knife is 4oz.
