Featured in this lot is this Civil War brass military buckle collection circa 1860-1900's. The collection of buckles shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted brass construction. The first is a U.S. Cavalry buckle that shows a 19th century design. The second is a shows the eagle with arrows and olive branch in its claws. The last is a Virginia belt buckle that reads as follows: Sic Semper Tyranis. The condition of this collection of Civil War buckles is well preserved with some oxidation to the buckles but otherwise is in well preserved condition. The measurements of the buckles ranges from 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" to 2 5/8" x 1 7/8". The collective weight of these buckles is 8oz.
