Featured in this lot is this Civil War era fancy brass spur set, c. 1860's. The spurs show construction consistent with other Civil War era spurs, with brass construction and double slot spur strap buckles on the ends of the heel bands. The rowels show 18 point sunburst design and the construction is a single piece construction with a drop shank. The condition of this set of spurs is good for their age and shows patina to the brass construction. The measurements of this spur pair are of 4 3/4" x 3" x 1 1/4".
