Featured in this lot is this Civil War era USN officers dress sword belt. Provenance: From Garth's Civil War Museum (See Tag). The belt features a black leather construction with brass belt buckle and clips to attach the rest of the dress uniform. The buckle is an eagle carrying a anchor in its claws and shows a cartridge sleeve that is marked 'USN' on the outside and a sword belt loop. The condition of this officer dress belt is well preserved with some wear to the cartridge sleeve and shows a slight patina to the brass buckle and clips but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this USN Officers belt 35 1/4" in the waist. The collective weight of the dress belt is 1lb
