This is an exceptional United States Union Civil War Starr Model 1863 Army percussion cap single action revolver chambered in .44 with a beautiful inlaid silver star at the base of the pistol grip. This revolver features an 8" barrel, six shot percussion cap cylinder, and walnut grips. The frame is marked across the right side, reading "Starrs Patent Jan. 15. 1856", with the left side marked "Starr Arms Co. New. York.” The walnut wood grips display silver flower tooled designs across the bottom. The silver inlaid star shows eight points. The revolver shows good condition for its age, with some pitting across the exterior. The revolver functionality is as follows: the hammer pulls back and locks into place, the trigger releases the hammer, a working action, and the cylinder locks into place but does not turn. Serial Number: 25002. This firearm qualifies as an Antique and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
