Featured in this lot is this classic Dalton cluster point from the Transitional Paleo Period and aged from 10,500 - 8,500 B.P. The point shows a medium auriculate point with semi elliptical cross section and an outward recurvate shape due to its constricted waist. The blade is serrated and lacks beveling; the point is knapped from a dark brown chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 3 3/8" x 1" x 1/4".
