Featured in this lot is this Clovis cluster flint point aged from 15,000 - 10,000 B.P. and from the Paleo Period. This is a thin, medium, triangular fluted point with a flattened cross section. The blade has an outward excurvate shape. The base is contracting, giving the point an appearance of lanceolate point. The base is concave with a flute running from the base up the face of the blade on both sides. The material the point is constructed from appears to be an abalone flint material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage or repair. The measurements of this Clovis cluster point are 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1/4".
