Featured in this lot is this Clovis fluted chert point aged from The Paleo Period and 15,000 - 10,000 B.P. The point is a thin small to medium sized point with a fully fluted side and a 3/4 fluted side with flared and auriculate base and a slightly lanceolate point overall. The base is concave with both sides fluted from the base to the length stated. The points show knapped salmon pink chert material construction and are slightly serrated. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 2 3/4" x 1" x 1/4". This point was collected from the Ohio - Kentucky eastern central region.
