Featured in this lot we have a CMC machined 4-shot percussion cap pepperbox revolver chambered in .36 caliber. This pepperbox was manufactured by CMC in the late 1900's. The piece displays a four shot steel cylinder, brass frame, trigger guard, steel internals and hammer system, and hardwood grips. The frame is marked across the bottom reading "CMC PAT. PEND" with the serial number "9720 P". The piece shows a working action with some sticking on the trigger reset with the cylinder needing to be manually rotated. The exterior of the pistol shows some light wear with some warm patina across the brass. Serial Number: 9720. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
