Featured in this lot is this Cobbs triangular knife point from the Early to Middle Archaic Period and aged from 8,500 - 5,000 B.P. The point is a large triangular knife blade with a flattened cross section with a slightly serrated blade edge. The blade was knapped from grey to light grey flint material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1/4". This point was taken from Tennessee.
