Included in this lot we have a collection of six American Indian culture resource books. This collection is made up of two categories of Native American historical literature, the first is anthropological and the second is archaeological in nature. The first book is "Imprisoned Art, Complex Patronage" by Joyce M. Szabo. The second piece is "A Northern Cheyenne Album" edited by Margot Liberty, photos by THomas B. Marquis, and Commentary by John Woodenlegs. The third portfolio is titled "Art of the American Indian Frontier" by the Detroit Institute of Art. The fourth book is "North American Indian Jewelry and Adornment from Pre Historical to the Present Concise Edition" by Lois Sherr Dubin. The fifth book is "Costumes of the Plains Indians" by Clark Wissler. With the sixth and final book titled "The American Indian Parfleche A Tradition of Abstract Painting" by Gaylord Torrence. The collection displays good condition overall with some minor wear due to age or use. The largest of the books measures 12" tall by 9" wide.
