Offered in this lot is a collection of 129 "Brick Red" Chevron trade beads. This style of chevron bead was known to be produced in the 1600's. The beads are quite old and some have damage, as expected for their age. The beads range in size from 7/8" wide and 5/8” long to ¼” X 1/8". All of the beads, except for nine, are "Brick Red" core.
